Two-Factor Authentication
CrossPay uses SMS-based 2FA to protect your account and transactions.
When is 2FA Required?
- Sending money
- Adding a new recipient
- Changing your password
- Updating security settings
How It Works
- When you perform a protected action, we send a 6-digit code to your phone
- Enter the code within 10 minutes
- If SMS fails, we automatically send the code to your email
Troubleshooting
- Not receiving codes? Check your phone signal and ensure your number is correct in Settings
- Code expired? Request a new one — codes are valid for 10 minutes
- Locked out? After 3 failed attempts, wait 15 minutes and try again
