Two-Factor Authentication

CrossPay uses SMS-based 2FA to protect your account and transactions.

When is 2FA Required?

1. Sending money
2. Adding a new recipient
3. Changing your password
4. Updating security settings

How It Works

1. When you perform a protected action, we send a 6-digit code to your phone
2. Enter the code within 10 minutes
3. If SMS fails, we automatically send the code to your email

Troubleshooting

1. Not receiving codes? Check your phone signal and ensure your number is correct in Settings
2. Code expired? Request a new one — codes are valid for 10 minutes
3. Locked out? After 3 failed attempts, wait 15 minutes and try again
