Setting Up Rate Alerts

Rate Alerts

Rate alerts notify you when an exchange rate reaches your desired level, so you can send money at the best time.

How to Set an Alert

1. Go to any converter page (e.g., /convert/naira-to-shilling)
2. Click Set Rate Alert below the chart
3. Enter your target rate
4. Choose a direction: alert when the rate goes above or below your target
5. Click Create Alert

How It Works

1. CrossPay checks rates every 5 minutes
2. When your target rate is reached, you receive a notification
3. Alerts are triggered once — after firing, the alert is marked as complete

Limits

1. You can have up to 10 active rate alerts at a time
2. Alerts expire automatically after 90 days if not triggered

Notification Channels

Rate alerts are sent via your preferred notification channel (email, WhatsApp, or SMS). Configure your preferences in Settings > Notification Preferences.
