Learn when you can cancel a transfer and how the refund process works.
You can cancel a transfer from your dashboard if it has not yet been collected.
| Status | Can Cancel? | What Happens |
|---|---|---|
| Created | Yes | Transfer is cancelled immediately |
| Collecting | Yes | Collection is stopped, refund initiated |
| Collected / Paying Out | No | Payout is already in progress |
| Completed | No | Funds have been delivered |
If your payment has already been collected when you cancel:
If a transfer fails during payout (e.g., incorrect recipient details), CrossPay will automatically retry up to 3 times. If all attempts fail, your funds are returned automatically and you will be notified via email.
If you need to cancel a transfer that is already in progress, contact support immediately via the chat widget or email support@crosspay.me.
